Greetings, Vilkommen, Bienvenue, and Welcome!

Hello! Yes, another greeting before you move on to my page. As the great Robin Williams said, “In the dictionary under ‘redundant’, it says: ‘see redundant’!”, and as we all know, educators love our redundancies!

Please take a moment to tour my page and read all of the boring details I have to offer. I am an enthusiastic, passionate science educator that puts my students’ success above almost everything else. I was inspired by a great teacher in my own scholastic days, who was the most professional and knowledgeable science teacher I ever encountered. They were a true scientist themselves, researching the Devil’s Hole pupfish populations, their growth, and what affects such.

After taking their class, as both a high school-er and college student, I wanted to be the person up in front of the class. I wanted to be the one inspiring students who may have never, ever thought of the subject as approachable, let alone enjoyable. I wanted to be able to assist them in achieving their dreams by putting myself into a position wherein I can give them any advantage that I can.

So, I am always adapting and evolving my teaching style and creating resources that can help any and all students access the material and hopefully spark a love of lifelong learning!

For example, in the course I’m taking which requires creation of this website in the first place, I have already been integrating technology into my current (most recently ended) fast-track Introduction to Molecular Biology Lecture and Lab at Truckee Meadows Community College.
